Portex Thermovent 1200 Filters Heat and Moisture Exchangers

Thermovent 1200 are sterile, single use, heat and moisture exchangers for use with intubated patients using a ventilator or other positive pressure breathing system. These Devices are used to: Preserve humidity and minimise damage to tracheal epithelial cells Reduce heat loss through the bronchopulmonary tree Help prevent thickened secretions and changes in lung function during long-term anaesthesia or ventilatory support Thermovent 1200:- Dead Space: 32 mL and indicated for use in adult patients whose Tidal Volumes are greater than 600 mL and less than 1200 mL Moisture Output: 24mg/L H2O @ 10 breaths/min Tidal Volume 1000 mL Temperature Output: 33.0°C @ 10 breaths/min Tidal Volume 1000 mL Resistance to flow: 0.4 hPa (cmH2O) at gas flow rate 0.5 L/sec (30 L/min) 1.2 hPa (cmH2O) at gas flow rate 1.0 L/sec (60 L/min) 2.4 hPa (cmH2O) at gas flow rate 1.5 L/sec (90 L/min) Compressible Volume: 32 mL (Dead space) *This product image is only for reference.
