ESAB BUDDY TIG 400i TIG-mmA Welding Machine Rogue ET is powerful and easy to handle entry level high frequency start TIG machine. It has been designed with ESAB DNA code which give them great robustness locked in very compact housing. Lightweight, ergonomic handle, carry strap and long extension cables make Rogue ET the ideal solution for field applications. Rogue ET performs with exceptional arc characteristics, both in TIG and Stick mode. There is a broad number of advanced parameters that can be adjusted in TIG: gas pre flow, start current, ramp up time, ramp down time, finish current and post flow. All of these can be worked with 2 or 4 stroke mode. Additionally this version has a pulsing feature with frequency up to 500 Hz for better heat input control. In Stick the user can adjust Hot Start or Arc Force, to match his best welding preferences or application. All of this can be quickly adjusted by simple and intuitive user interface. Voltage Reduction Device – VRD – In some areas a voltage reduction device, or VRD, is required. VRD is a safety function that limits the open circuit voltage from the machine to less than 35 V. The Buddy™ TIG are prepared for VRD and the function can easily be activated inside the power source. Easy settings – The simple control panel of the Buddy™ TIG makes it easy to optimise settings, reducing the time taken for achieving the best weld characteristics. These units are equipped with a bright easy to read digital display. As an option the Buddy™ TIG can be equipped with a remote control unit and a trolley, with gas bottle tray and built in tool box. Energy Efficient – The Buddy™ TIG machines are constructed to maintain a high power factor and efficiency, thus keeping the energy cost to a minimum without affecting the weld quality. Safety & Reliability – The Buddy™ Arc machines conform to International Standards that ensures the reliability & safe use of these machines. These units are equipped with overheating and mains over/under voltage protection that will temporarily switched off the machines automatically to prevent any potential damage that the components might sustain
